The goals of this program are to prepare all participating sites for Level 3 Geriatric ED Accreditation by December 2020; support a team at each site focussed on excellent care of older ED patients; enhance models of care for older people in San Diego County EDs especially relating to the management of delirium, dementia, and mobility; foster a sense of community among San Deigo County EDs around the care of older patients
At the end of the Bootcamp, participants should be able to:
Describe the many possible components of a geriatric ED based on the Geriatric ED Guidelines.
List the component of a successful application for ACEP Geriatric ED Accreditation.
Demonstrate familiarity with the West Health Toolkits around delirium, dementia, and mobility (see below for links to the toolkits).
Present a brief description of a specific project to implement in their own ED.

Your GEDC Bootcamp is built around the content of these three toolkits. These toolkits were developed by West Health and contain useful tools for implementing sustainable and meaningful change.
