We put best practice into action

Aligning With System and Strategic Priorities
Building a CMS Age-Friendly Emergency Department
Better care for older adults starts with concrete, evidence-based processes in the ED. Learn to drive change by aligning the CMS Measure with Age-Friendly Health Systems and GEDA Accreditation. Our new resource hub shows you how.

The BRAIN Project
Creating Dementia and Delirium Friendly Hospitals
Introducing BRAIN (Brain-Healthy Care for Acute and Inpatient Environments) — a project designed to help health systems directly address the challenge of cognitive impairment.
BRAIN brings together leading hospitals to explore practical interventions for dementia and delirium in ED and inpatient settings. Successful approaches are shared through collaborative sessions and formalized. From there, health systems are equipped to transform care — translating what is already known into what is widely practiced.
