Overview

This webinar will address the important role of research and developing an evidence base for geriatric ED issues. In the relatively new field of Geriatric ED care, there are many questions that remain unanswered, even unasked. Do interdisciplinary teams make a difference? What are the best strategies and tools for screening? What is the effectiveness of screening for things – frailty; elder mistreatment; functional decline; fall risk? What are the cost implications of geriatric ED changes?

This webinar will hear from clinician-researchers who are asking and answering these questions. Join us to explore opportunities for individuals and departments to participate or even start their own program of research.
