Toronto’s University Health Network to create first senior emergency care centre with historic $52 million donation. The largest single donation to emergency medicine in Canada will elevate the standard of urgent care for older adults across the country.

University Health Network is a GEDC health system in Toronto that GEDC consulted with to develop their GEDs and a plan for a Level 1 Geriatric center. They in turn have received a GED donation of $52M to continue to build out GED programs from key collaborators of John A. Hartford, West Health, Geriatric ED Collaborative, and GED Accreditation (ACEP).
