Course Description
This module focuses on recognizing and managing acute coronary syndrome (ACS) in older adults, who frequently present with non-classical symptoms. Learners will explore the reasons ACS is often missed, including age-related symptom variation, diagnostic complexity, and biases in clinical thinking. The session emphasizes reframing “typical” presentations and ensuring timely, aggressive, yet goal-concordant management of suspected ACS.
