Older adults are especially vulnerable to medication-related harm due to comorbidities and altered physiology. In this presentation, learners will explore a structured approach to evaluating medication safety using drug-patient, drug-disease, and drug-drug interaction frameworks. Through practical examples, it highlights how to recognize potentially harmful prescriptions, choose safer alternatives, and reduce risk with age-appropriate pain management strategies.
