This module will provide a brief overview of delirium, dementia, and depression among older adults, including how each condition relates to the problem of elder mistreatment.

By the end of this module, ED care providers will be able to:

  • Identify connections among delirium, dementia, and elder mistreatment
  • Explain the dual relationship between mistreatment and depression among older adults
