# Preparing your Emergency Department for Patients on Amyloid-Targeting Therapy

This toolkit is designed to help emergency departments be prepared for imaging and managing patients on amyloid-targeting therapies for Alzheimer’s disease. Developed in collaboration with Efficient CME, the toolkit includes educational materials for clinicians about Amyloid-Targeting Therapy, ARIA severity grading, clinical symptoms of ARIA, MRI protocols, effective communication strategies between the ED and radiology, general ARIA management and treatments, and contraindications for medication management.

The toolkit includes a variety of other tools developed in collaboration with Efficient CME that will support EDs in responding to ARIA and properly managing patients on amyloid-targeting therapies.
