The Geriatric Emergency Department (GED) Special Interest Group brings together all health professionals interested in caring for older adults in Emergency Departments. We review how to create and sustain new models of geriatrics care in a high-volume and fast-paced ED environment. In addition, we discuss the successes and challenges of GED programs and increasing partnerships between AGS and Emergency Medicine forums. Please join us to explore growing opportunities to advance the care of older adults in Emergency Departments.
